The proposed residential will be served by Oakton Elementary School, Thoreau Middle School, and Oakton High School.

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is conducting a study to assess the impact on schools. This study considers the Plan Amendment’s impact to the school district, and will also evaluate the impact of the related Rezoning application.

Beyond evaluating how the new development affects local schools, it will also identify any strategies, if necessary, to minimize these impacts.
